No travel, hiking or camping conditions in the interiors. Travelers are adviced to postpone travel there.
Near to mountains (South part of Iceland) very strong winds that can be hazardous to vehicles and loose objects can be blown away.

Civil Protection advises against travel on Svínafellsjökull due to landslide danger and guided tours on the glacier are discouraged. Travelers are advised to stop only for a short while at viewpoints by the glacier tongue.
Smaller 4×4 (Jimny, Rav 4 or similar) advised to avoid F88 due to 50 cm depth in Lindaá river. F905 and F910 from Möðrudalur to Askja recommended instead!
