By requesting trip monitoring you are giving 112 and Search & Rescue the time you estimate to arrive from you tour.
If you haven’t checked out before that time rescue teams will start search operation.
You will get a text message/e-mail to activate the service. After activating you will receive another text message/e-mail which you can use to deactivate the monitoring service when you’ve arrived safely from your trip.
